SEA and Marine Debris
Before I get into the thick of post-5IMDC analysis, I want to first do a mini-post about SEA and marine debris. But first, some context… Last week, during 5IMDC, I participated in a field trip to Pier 38 in Honolulu to see a fish auction. We got up at 5:30am and watched these guys go…
My Bodum Experience
While cleaning out the grounds from a recent French Press, I being my usual spastic self, somehow managed to chip and crack the glass beaker of the press. I was not happy. It wasn’t my French Press to break and now I had a fully functional lid and handle to go with a destroyed beaker….
Sick. Twisted.
Sometime in the not-too-distant past, I watched a clip from the documentary “Earthlings”. I never got to the whole movie, mostly because after watching the trailer, I had seen enough. The picture of that bird and the crap from inside it is heartbreaking! On a similar subject you might like to read a book just released by a friend of mine, matt Rigney; the book is called In Pursuit of Giants, and it is about the ocean’s largest fish and how we are eliminating them….
hope there are some saving graces about your visit, not all horrors like this one….Christine
